I am delighted to be one of the kindergarten teachers at St. Joseph’s!
Teaching my students that everyday people (and children!) can and did become saints is a huge part of learning about who God and His Church is. The Catholic faith, by God’s unfailing grace, is the pillar that uplifts and glorifies all parts of my life. I feel that my personal mission as a teacher is meant to exemplify that.
In addition to teaching as a catechist in grades K, 1, and 2, I have been a stay-at-home mom for my two sons, Joey and Chippy, who entered St. Joseph’s in 2024.
I have a great love of gardening (particularly flowers), reading, and painting. I also spend time singing in the Mount Angel Abbey Chamber Choir (such a blessing!).
“Let me stress this point: it is in the simplicity of your ordinary work, in the monotonous details of each day, that you have to find the secret, which is hidden from so many, of something great and new: Love.” -St Josemaria Escriva
